Hubby and I went to one of favourite Seafood Restaurants , what we used to know as Tommy Ruff. When we arrived we noticed new bright signage Finz and at first a little shocked what’s happened to our favourite Tommy Ruff we had driven over an hour to come here and didn’t know what to think. We decided after all we’ve driven this far we’ll go in and check it out. Wow wow wow we are so pleased we decided to go in the restaurant was packed but the new owner found us a table he welcomed us as we walked in and could quickly see we were confused he reassured us that although new owners had taken over, the great food, the staff and the atmosphere remains the same. He showed us to our table where the wait staff promptly took our drinks order while we looked over the menu. Drinks came out and we were ready to order, within 10 minutes our meals arrived and we smiled at each other and remembered just how good the food was and still is. The seafood was fresh with so much flavour and so happy that even with new owners and a new name Finz will still remain our favourite Seafood Restaurant that we’ll happily drive over an hour to get to. We wish the new owners all the success coming their way and look forward to bringing our family here to share a beautiful meal.

Amazing food, great staff and top-notch hospitality. The whole family felt welcome and the kids absolutely loved it. The Barra Super Special with Cajun seasoning, salad and chips was fresh and absolutely delicious As a New Zealander who loves his kai moana, (seafood) this place definitely delivered. Great seafood, great atmosphere; great for the family and an all-round awesome experience. 10/10 — we’ll definitely be back!

Honestly sooo good!! 🤤 We had such a good experience and the food was absolutely amazing. I got the lamb skewers and they were cooked perfectly, so tender and full of flavour! The chips were crispy, the pita was warm and fresh and the tzatziki was sooo good 🤌🏼 We also got the kids fish and chips and it was such a generous serving! The fish was fresh, cooked perfectly and the kids absolutely loved it, which is always a win 😂 The serving sizes overall were HUGE, you definitely won’t be leaving hungry! Everything was fresh, came out looking amazing and tasted even better. Such a good atmosphere, amazing food and overall just a really good experience. We will definitely be back!! 😍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
